Located in Uptown New Orleans, Studio Huval is a fine art studio producing archival quality inkjet prints, portfolios, and reproductions for artists and photographers. And artist-photographers.
Artists of all kind have their work digitized and printed at Studio Huval, including collage artists, painters, graphic designers...even paper marblers. Often artists come ready to print, while some come to collaborate and experiment with materials to find the most effective way to express their intent.
To me, this is the really fun part. I suppose “growing up” (age 18-28) in the film industry made me this way. On set, I learned how to consider the audience, to remember they don’t know what I already know about my project, so every piece of information delivered must be carefully considered.
Since 2019, I’ve advised emerging and mid-career artists on their prints, photo books, and artist statements, as well as printing and framing. These collaborations are the foundation and inspiration for Studio Huval.
